Welcome to our two child care centers, Love and Laughter Learning Center on Shaw Road and School Kids' Clubhouse on 128th streeet off of Meridian. Our two non-denominational Christian childcare centers are affiliated with Clover Park Technical College. Offering safe, quality, loving care since 1984, we provide care for ages one month through 12 years. Our licensed child care includes extended hours and daily preschool taught by qualified teachers to prepare children to succeed in school. Our van service goes to some South Hill, Puyallup schools; and the Puyallup School District provides bus service to and from one elementary school. Our school-age rooms include a game room, arts and crafts, and homework help. The daily rate for our seven-acre summer day camp includes swimming classes, daily recreational swimming, games, sports, and arts and crafts. It has a large, in-ground, well-heated swimming pool, playground equipment, tetherball, a large, covered sand play area, a basketball/sports court, miniature golf, a baseball diamond, and a soccer field. Certified lifeguards, swim teachers, recreation leaders, and counselors help the children have fun, make friends, and participate in activities of the child's choice. very positive and very welcoming staff
My daughter 3.5 years loved coming here every day, she had so much fun with all of her classmates and the teachers were super nice. The rest of the faculty were all extremely pleasant to me, and completely changed my view of daycare. I had previously viewed it as a necessity that i'd rather do without, given the choice. After seeing how much my daughter loved it there, I'm very sorry to leave.
I called yesterday and was told there was a place for my 3.5 year old and they would put my almost one year old on the toddler waitlist. We went through the tour and were getting ready to over rates and all that good stuff when I brought up my oldest having special needs (Tourrette's/SPD), I asked if they would be well equipped if he had a melt down (which I explained was crying and that he needs space), the woman immediately assumed he would get violent and said that if he is a "danger to other children then he will be sent home". All of a sudden the woman goes and tells the director that he has special needs and she comes out to tell us that there is NO LONGER A SPOT BUT WE CAN BE ON THE WAITLIST. I am so upset. I feel terrible for my LO.
Love this place. They are very busy but still maintain a positive attitude and take care of the kids. My daughter is 6 and very shy. She started the summer camp and is having so much fun. She’s outside ALL day doing different kinds of activities and meeting friends. In a world where kids are plugged in all the time, I am very happy with this day camp and everything they do for the kids.
I love this place. My twins have been attending for over a year and they love it. They are always coming home with new songs, art work, stories and they are learning a lot. The staff is so professional, kind and they communicate very well! Thank you to all the teachers and staff for keeping my children safe, making them feel loved and letting them grow with you! I love that you incorporate God into their lives as well. I will always recommend you if I hear of anyone looking for a great school for their little ones.
